LONDON — Director and actor Andy Serkis has dropped some seriously twisted details about The Hunt for Gollum, revealing that the film will introduce a female counterpart to Gollum named “Girllum.” Serkis describes this as “a deeply cursed but emotionally necessary direction for Middle-earth,” promising an exploration of the most depraved aspects of goblin desire.
At a fan event, Serkis teased the upcoming film while slowly rotating a replica ring between his fingers, his eyes gleaming with perverse excitement. “It’s going to be about half the movie, actually,” he said, a wicked grin spreading across his face. “Girllum is an absolute freak, and I’m thrilled to be playing both her and Gollum in all of these scenes. Think sweaty, wet goblins clapping cheeks and squirting like crazy. There will be a lot of grunting, spurting, and general grossness.”
Serkis explained that the creative team pondered what modern audiences truly crave from the Lord of the Rings universe. “The answer was clear,” he said. “More wet little goblin romance. And by romance, I mean the kind that involves a lot of sloppy kisses, enthusiastic humping, and fluids flying everywhere. Girllum will be riding Gollum like a wild beast, their slimy bodies glistening with sweat and other fluids.”
Warner Bros. executives reportedly greenlit the concept within minutes after viewing early motion-capture footage described internally as “hard to watch but impossible to stop discussing.” Sources close to production say the film will feature extended scenes of Gollum and Girllum writhing together in caves, arguing over the One Ring with spit and other bodily fluids flying. There will be close-ups of every slimy detail, including Girllum’s grotesque genitalia pulsating as she grinds against the ring.
“We really wanted to push Tolkien’s legacy forward,” said one producer. “And unfortunately, this was the direction it went. Think slime, sweat, and a lot of squelching. There will be scenes where Gollum is deeply penetrating Girllum while hissing about the One Ring.”
The studio confirmed that the film’s tone will remain faithful to Peter Jackson’s original trilogy despite the addition of what insiders are calling “aggressively sensual cave chemistry.” Fans online reacted with confusion after leaked set photos showed Serkis wearing two separate motion-capture suits at once, hissing and thrusting at himself between takes.
“I miss when fantasy movies were about battles,” wrote one user. “Now every franchise eventually arrives at ‘what if the weird little creature started humping.’”
At press time, Warner Bros. announced a special collector’s edition popcorn bucket shaped like Gollum making prolonged eye contact, ensuring that fans can take home a piece of this explicitly gross journey.
